COVID and boosters

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering how people have gone with COVID?

My doctor advised me to be careful with getting another Pfizer jab, as I had chest pains after my second one. He said he'd give me anti-virals if I catch COVID (haven't had it and hope not to), and that I should be OK, but I am a bit anxious about not having a booster.

I thought Plaxlovid is the drug of choice to help treat covid. I did lookup a 2022 study done on the cochrane library they came up with the conclusion Ivermectin has little or no effect in treating covid.

Authors' conclusions:

For outpatients, there is currently low‐ to high-certainty evidence that ivermectin has no beneficial effect for people with COVID‐19

Just my 2 cents worth.

Members may find it helpful to watch our advisor Dr. Blitshteyn's video about COVID and how it can affect dysautonomia patients.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JI_c95dvg0w

She explains the science behind DINET's decision to recommend vaccination regardless of possible side effects unless specifically advised against it by your personal physician.

Plaxlovid

Note: Paxlovid interacts with a lot of other drugs—if you consider it, good to run it through an interaction checker. It has major interactions with two drugs I am taking.

Edit: I see that this was discussed in another thread. It is too bad that it is not an option for some of us due to the interactions. Best wishes Mike!
