Sounds like rice krispees or gritty sand. Also now have tinnitus Yes but i do not think it is orthostatic related. Folks in Cardio rehab would joke about the crunching when turning their head (rice krispies sound). I am sure it is part of aging. In my case i know i have cervical spondylosis but at the end of the day it is manageable.
angelloz
Well I had this years ago then it went away. Within the last month or so many symptoms including that one have returned.
FishinGator
Look into Atlas Axis Subluxation. This has been the underlying cause for my Dysautonomia, due to a neck injury in 2018. I am able to keep my symptoms at bay with frequent chiropractic care and physical therapy. Your symptoms with the crackling sound, tinnitus and headaches align with mine when my C1 vertebrae is misaligned.
