derekliz
I don't believe it is available in Canada. When I order it from the US through a Canadian pharmacy, it is shipped from another countryLiz
brethor9
Liz How do you go about getting this drug? Do you have to apply for special access? I am very interested for any info....Thanks!Bren
derekliz
Hi Bren. My POTS specialist suggested that I try it...that has been alittle over 2 yra ago. He writes the script and faxes it to a pharmacy in Canada. It takes about two weeks for me to get it. If you would like the pharmacy name, pm me.If you have any other questions, feel free to ask Liz
corina
Sorry! I thought it was, as I found pharmacists in Canada that sell it. I had no idea that they were shipping it. Thanks for explaining Liz!
Tobiano
Bren - One of my cardiologists has been involved with some advocacy efforts to bring the drug to Canada. Last I heard, it's not approved by HC yet (not even for compassionate relief). Will let you know if I hear anything more.
brethor9
Hey that would be great if you could keep me posted when we can get it here! I would love to try it as the beta blockers just are not working with my MCAS issues I hate how we are always so behind in everything!Bren
Lethargic Smiles
This is exciting! I remember the first time I read about it a year ago, I thought, "Oh my goodness, this drug sounds perfect for my case -- why haven't we tried this?! I must email my doctor at once!" ... only to find out it isn't available here.
