Is it safe to take an antihistamine during this test or will it affect results? I can't find any info online. Can anyone point me to a resource online that states one way or the other?

If you take an antihistamine it will suppress histamine release and therefore invalidate the test results. I don't have a reference for you but that is my understanding of how that drug class works.

I agree with what is written above. In your personal situation however there may be reasons why you shouldn't stop the zantac, so I'd advice you to talk this over with your doctors to decide together what will be best for you. Good luck!
