Foggy01 Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 Anyone know anywhere that doesn't just shoo you out the door if you have this variant.Anyone know a place that'd bother to subtype it at all let alone get to the root of things? Can't waste any more money going to these high profile places that do nothing but write a bill. ramakentesh Posted June 7, 2012 Report Posted June 7, 2012 hard to say since the subtypes are still debated to some degree. As an example some people in MAYO believe hyper POTS are just neuropathic with beta 2 receptor autoantibodies as well. They say that true Hypers respond better to clonidine, methyldopa and melatonin. Others think that hypers have volume deficits rather than anything else.Try Dr Grubb? Quote
HyperPOTS8 Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Rama, can you elaborate on melatonin in hyperPOTS, have references, etc? Also, what about volume deficit in hyperPOTS. Thank you Quote
Chaos Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Dr Grubb is at the University of Toledo in Ohio. I believe. Quote
