Lemons2lemonade
Just got my blood work bad back from last week. Plasma: High sodium, high chloride, low vitamin d. I am on florinef, is this why my sodium levels are abnormally high in my plasma
redoctober
Probably because you're supplementing with NaCl (salt). This will increase your plasma sodium. Low Vitamin D is interesting...my doc mentioned that he sees it occasionally with dysautonomia. Go get some sun!
julieph85
Florinef will definitely do that. In fact that's what it does- makes your kidneys retain sodium. Has it helped your pots at all?
ramakentesh
Yeah Florinef although sometimes we get high readings because we have low plasma volumes.
issie
Lemons,Don't know why, but that's how my readings are and I don't take florinef or salt load. It will be interesting to see what your renin and aldosterone levels will be. Do you plan to try to get them to check your angiotension II levels? I haven't talked with them about it yet. Would you like for me to try to get the info to them before you get here? I can print out those studies on the autoantibodies to ace2 and take it down there tomorrow.Issie
Lemons2lemonade
You can if you have time Issie and are feeling well enough. That is so thoughtful of you! And yes I soo want them to check my angiotensin ii.
