sue1234
Next year, which will be my 6th year of POTS, I may see if I can get into the Vandy trial just to see if they can figure any meds for me. I never thought 6 years ago I would still be looking for help! The question is, on their form they ask for you to take you b/p on three separate days, at certain minute intervals. I tried that once and I felt AWFUL trying to get to the 10 minute mark. I definitely didn't do it for the 2nd or 3rd day and gave up. Once that awful feeling kicks in, its with me for many hours afterwards. Do you think they will just take the graph results from my TTT that shows exactly what happens to me standing up? Anyone know? Or, did you all do the home 3-day tracking?
Clairefmartin
I actually spoke with the very nice lady there yesterday, and she said to do the best you could and record the results with notes.
sue1234
Wow, I've only found there fax number all these years! I faxed some questions to them about 5 years ago regarding the study, but nobody got back with me. Then the next year I faxed in my info, and STILL nobody ever called me back. I just gave up after that. Thanks for the info!
HopeSprings
I filled out their paperwork and did the home testing a few years ago. It's a long ten minutes, but I forced myself to endure it - I just turned on the TV and tried to distract myself during the ten minute stand. Glad you've decided to go there. Good luck.
