juliegee
Hi Darlene-I also have intermittent high liver function. Here is an article by Dr. Lawrence Afrin (and others) that describes mast cell infiltration into the liver as being responsible for a decrease in liver function: http://www.jhoonline.../content/4/1/10 This would be a great article to bring to your appt.WHY are you taking isoniazid? Do you have tuberculosis? THAT could explain your abnormal labs in the absence of MCAD. Talk to the doc who prescribed it.Julie

juliegee
Definitely see the doc that prescribed it for you as it can impact your liver. That might be what's going on. IF you stop the isoniazid and your liver function doesn't improve... I might suspect MCAD. Sorry you have so many things going on Julie
