juliegee Posted October 9, 2011 Report Share Posted October 9, 2011 Hi Liz-In a nutshell, mast cell activation disorder is when a patient's mast cells are overly reactive. The symptoms and treatment of this disorder are very similar to mastocytosis where patients have too many mast cells. But, many ANS docs are recognizing it & recommending the benign OTC frontline treatment of an H-1 and H-2.Lots and lots to wrap your head around.
