derekliz
So I was wondering how many have worsened symptoms right around the time of ovulation? My HR was doing better but now it has worsened and i was wondering if there is a connection. I am not on BCP and do not want to be. Would love to know others experiences as I waz just diagnosed less than 2 weeks agoThxLiz
Guest letitbe
Absolutely. Ovulation is such a gigantic hormonal and metabolic movement within us.

Guest letitbe
...if you do not have endomertiosis or pre-cancer etc, hysterec. will make you so much worse.
HopeSprings
Yes my dizziness gets worse. Seems any hormonal shift affects this symptom in me.
Katybug
Yes, my symptoms were worse around ovulation. I can't take BCP because of my GI issues so I use the Nuvaring and I don't skip a week in using it so I do not get a period. It makes a big difference. I don't have one week out of the month where I'm even worse than normal (cause normal isn't that good.)
corina
i was scheduled for hysterectomy some years ago because of all the problems i had at that time. in the end my doc and i decided that it would be too invasive (i've always had major problems re aneasthesia and lumbal punction wasn't an option) and i tried IUS which helped a LOT. i stopped menstruating after about 2 or 3 months which solved all my problems and was very very happy not to have had surgery! derekliz
What is IUS?
corina
oh i'm sorry derekliz! as english isn't my first language (i'm in the netherlands, europe)and i didn't know the english word for it i used the translator and it said IUS. what i mean is a hormone spiral if that makes more sence. it actually is for birth controle and made my periods stop (as it does for most women who have it). it really was/is a blessing to me! i have one that is called "mirena" but i'm not sure whether it's available in the us.hope this helps

jackiemxoxo
I agree that symptoms are worse during ovulation. I'm wondering for those that have kids, how did POTS/Autonomic dysfunction affect pregnancy?
corina
jackie, there have been a lot of topics about pregnancy and pots over the years. when you go to the top of this page there is a box (to the right) where you can do a search on pregnancy and pots and find more info. hope this helps!
