redoctober
Does anyone else notice varying pupil dilation when they are having vision issues? I just looked at my pupils in the mirror...and while they constrict properly when exposed to light...they tend to struggle to maintain constant dilation, and vary in diameter.Does anyone else experience this?Edit: I should note that both pupils appear to wax/wane synchronously in dilation (both do it at the same time). Not sure if this is normal...or if I'm just being a hypochondriac...
icesktr189
Yes I vet this when my adrenaline is going nuts or starting an ssri. Its just another annoying autonomic symptom
ramakentesh
this has happened to me once when i was in a big bad POTS episode. More commonly I just get Ptosis or eye lid lap when im really bad. This symptom is described in the literature that talks about autoimmune POTS. swreeder70
My son has lots of vision problems with his Dysautonomia / POTS. Tunnel, blurry, jittery, blackouts, high sensitivity to light/dark, and total loss of vision. The symptoms come and go and we usually experience a few of these per day, with the severe ones lasting a few minutes and the more annoying lasting several hours. I have seen his pupils fully dilated and very constricted during his episodes.
