Since choline is necessary for nerve signal transmission I was wondering if anybody takes it? Choline is also a precursor to acetylcholine, which also plays a role in the nervous system and regulates the speed of the digestive system. Has anybody had their acetylcholine levels checked?

I tried taking choline bitartrate, but felt really rotten. Apparently it's supposed to be suited for people with a symptathetic nervous system imbalance, unfortunately I reacted in the opposite way to the way you're supposed to.. felt really jumpy and jittery, couldn't sleep, felt off balance etc. I haven't been tested for acetylcholine levels though. See how you go!
