I'm trying to see what space is available at the NewtonWellesley Hospital. They are getting back in touch with me. I don't know how much interest there is so I'm asking if there would be anyone interested here to come to a group. If no space is available right away. I thought that there is a park with a pond near me and maybe interested people could plan to meet there as they have picnic tables in the shade, it's free. ; )If anyone is interested you could let me know. Maybe it would start some where out of the hospital and when it grows move into the hospital. I used to run support groups for the American diabetes Association. Some churches have small halls, or basements that are used for wedding/baby showers and other events----------------why not a support group meeting.... See if you can find someone to run the group with you, as it can be exhausting to do by yourself. It's just a matter of when the room is available and other people have shown interest.I'm starting to meet a lot of nice people in the are from the meet others program and also I didn't know who else might be interested and of course there would have to be some kind of team work when I would be out. : ) My doctor is trying to see who might be interested in his practice.
