deucykub
I just started taking Provigil for fatigue, and it is helping me enormously with not falling asleep during my working hours. The insurance I have is not Provigil friendly, so it will take a while to get insurance coverage if it ever happens at all. Walgreens charges almost $13.50 a pill - ouch.Do you have any suggestions on a better/low cost yet still reputable place to purchase this medication?Thank you! momofsara
Will your insurance pay for it with a PA? We have to get Sara's PCP to do a PA for her to get Medicaid to pay for it. Hope you find help with it, I know it is a wonderful med. Best of luck--Susan
deucykub
Thanks, Susan! My doctor tried getting a PA for it, but the insurance company denied it. I'll be starting the appeals process as soon as the denial letter arrives, which apparently they refused to send to my doctor.I'm so glad that Medicaid covers it for Sara! Rachel
You could try places like Costco, Sam's Club, and Wal-Mart for a slightly cheaper price. Unfortunately Provigil will be expensive wherever you purchase it. I've priced different pharmacies, but the cheapest I've ever seen was $206 for a 30 day supply of 100mg tablets. It's pricey. I hope the appeal works for you.Rachel
