Tammy
I'm wondering if honey can be a symptom trigger? Anyone else notice this? Thanks for any input! I'm just thinking I must have done something else to flare me this bad today, but the only thing I can think of is that I had some honey today, which I normally don't eat, but that seems to simple - Tammy
mkoven
I'm allergic to "healthy" (relatively unprocessed) honey. I can have the super processed stuff sold in the plastic squeezer in the shape of a bear. I always chalked it up to my pollen allergy... gertie
When I eat honey I always feel like I am about to pass out. I was told by a bee keeper they do use a pesticide in the hives to kill mites. I am very allergic to pesticides so that may be the link for me. Do you know if you are sensitive to pesticides?
flop
I can't tolerate honey but I am just finding out that my body doesn't process sugars very well and honey is basically sugar. For me I feel fine after eating the sweet thing but about an hour later I have a mini-pots flare getting really tachycardic and having a tremor. Not helped by the fact that I have a really sweet tooth!Flop
MomtoGiuliana
Many of us have increased symptoms after eating high sugar content foods.
