You sound like you've gone your limit....please take care of yourself. I'm sorry about your grandfather. (((HUGS))) My sister passed away Sat due to a heart attack. I hope you can enjoy your time with him and that the POTS will chill enough for you to get through all that your going through.

I have most of your symptoms.....your not alone sweetie.

try opening and closing your hand into a fist and see if that helps get blood flow to your hand?

I have carpel tunnel and I have to wear a brace on bad days.

I spent 2 years with a Dr when I should have moved on when he said he didn't understand POTS. My fault! But I now have a EP who is very understanding and compassionate. I hope you'll find one that will fit your needs. (((HUGS)))

In my opinion even though your sons hr didn't go above 100, it sounds like it could be POTS. It did go up 30 bpm. Do you know what his vitals were when he vomited? Not knowing your Daughters vitals it would be hard to tell, but I'm guessing your intuison tells you what's going on. Listen to it. My first TTT was nagative. It took 2 years before I finally got diagnosed. I knew all along this is what was wrong with me. However the Dr I had didn't understand POTS. He himself admitted as much.

Maybe you'll need a second opinion, I would ask for copies of the TTT and take it to another Dr.

I have a 3 year old so I understand!! He LOVES playing with playdough and board games. Of course both take energy having to clean up or show him how to do the game the right way. I have a 6 year old too and they will sometimes play nicely together. But the FIGHTING. I guess this is my fault since I know most of it is brought on by boredom.

Independent play can be good for a child, don't be hard on yourself. As long as our children know and feel we love them, what we are able to do doesn't matter.

Now if only they could give us a little of that energy! lol

that makes me think allergy if your normally not like this. or even a viral infection..are you running a fever or anything?

I have no idea? Could it be from an allergy to a new food?

He started me out at 5mg. It's giving me headaches too, I don't know if that will ease after awhile. It did with the Florinef. But It's like I'm not even on meds when you look at my vitals. You would think it would help a little? I can't handle the headaches though, they turn into migraines and I can't even lay down. I'm going to call the Dr at 9am. Thanks guys!

Hi everyone,

As some of you know they put me on Norpace and then increased the Florinef. Well I was having episodes of really high blood pressure/low pulse/high pulse low blood pressure. Sorry I know confusing.

Anyway I was feeling pretty bad and was able to get into the Dr the following day, he took me off Florinef and put me on Midodrine. I couldn't fill the Midodrine right way but stopped the Florinef. Still having problems with blood pressure and heart rate. So I called and told the Dr and I'm now on Midodrine only.

I've been on it for 3 days now and am still pretty POTSY. My blood pressure has not been high, but it is now too low and my heart rate is too high. It's been giving me headaches too. I don't see it helping. [sigh]

I thought Midodrine should work right away?

I'm so sorry to hear your in the hospital! And such a long stay. I seem to be a few months late on posting, glad it popped back up!

The olny thing I have been diagnosed with is POTS, and I too have trouble breathing at times. Mostly I notice it when my heart is beating fast.

My body does that too....you having a UTI could very well be a trigger. I know if I do too much I will get these jerks. It's really scary sometimes! ((HUGS))

Ya! haha, I keep telling my husband that we should move. I've lived here my whole life though so I'm also scared to move. But my body CAN'T handle this AZ heat.

I'm not as fatigued now that I'm not on the betas. I think for me it was making me feel worse.
