  1. Hi Danielle, I am also in N. Ohio, not quite officially diagnosed yet. I would love to see if there is a N. Ohio support group that we could meet with others in person. Jazzy / Sher
  2. Hello I developed my problems during/ after my third pregnancy. I have been diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension & am being sent for the Table test for Pots. I delivered prematurely at 27 weeks. It is very interesting to read how many others have had this happen. Jazzy
  3. Hi Ladies, thank you very much for your help. The doctor my Endo is suggesting is Kamal Chemali. When I look it up it does say he works with autonomic disorders but he is not listed as an Ep? It would the same travel distance to see Dr. Grubb (yes he is the Dr. G) Will Grubb see you if you have not had the Tilt Table test yet? The Neuro wanted the Tilt table ordered already, & thought the Endo would order it- since he is in affiliated with the Clinic, & they have the equipment. But -he said it is out of his field and wants to send me to Chemali. I am in between the two major clinics - my Neuro refers to the west, and my Endo - who is with the 'east' hospital refers to his own big hospital of course. LOL (No other Endo's in my area- have to drive to see him). So this is the problem with the two of them wanting to refer me different directions. I can actually envision the Endo feeling indignant if I want to go to Toledo. LOL Isn't it a blast dealing with all this runaround? I have about a hundred questions, right off the top of my head. Thanks Mary! Glad you like it! Jazzy
  4. Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. I am 40, a mother of three sons, and from Ohio. I have been 'ill' since 2002 after a premature delivery of my third son. I developed diabetes during the pregnancy and now am a type 1 diabetic. I have had constantly low blood pressures, severe fatigue, heart 'lurches', peripheral neuropathy, breathing issues, digestive issues, inability to stand for very long, severe leg pain, weakness, collapsing episodes, headaches, the list goes on and on, since this time. Just in the last month, a new Endo took my blood pressure lying down and then standing, and discovered I was Orthostatic. My Neuro is thinking of Pots or autonomic insufficiency. My diabetes is well controlled for years now. My Endo would like me to see a certain doctor, but I do not see his name on the list of physicians recommended. I worry that this doctor will not be the one I need. Could anyone offer their thoughts, should I post this doctor's name out and see if anyone has experience with him? (it is not Dr. Gr) I think my Neuro would go for Dr. G if I suggested it. Should I do this, or see what this other doctor comes up with? I have read over alot of the posts, and it is great to be here. I look forward to participating and getting to know everyone. Jazzy
