  1. A family member has had progressively worsening symptoms involving tremors, difficulty walking, difficulty speaking, and most recently, dementia-like cognitive issues on top of typical cardiac symptoms. Mestinon is the only thing that helps, and there is some symptom overlap with myasthenia gravis (tested negative for antibodies). I wonder how acetylcholine might be involved given the symptoms and response to mestinon? The cognitive issues are very troubling and seem way beyond "brain fog". Our medical team is not getting too far with this. Any similar experiences or insights?
