  1. Hello! I was finally diagnosed correctly after years of being told I was crazy or "just a woman" and I've always struggled with my weight. No matter how much I exercised or ate right. I was always exhausted while my sister was pinging off the walls after a workout. I put on 10kg in 3 months over Christmas 2021/2022 and could not figure out why. My weight had been the same for 10 years and i too couldnt fit into my clothes . It wasn't until I finally started medication for the POTs that it went back to what it was (I started midodrine and Dexamphetamines). I recently 2023 went on the beta blockers too to help with the adrenaline surges I was getting and have lost even more weight. I truly believe it's because our bodies are in fight or flight mode constantly that we're over producing cortisol. Too much cortisol can lead to weight gain. Similar in cushings. Because of this too food isn't being digested until you lie down and the parasympathetic nervous system kicks in. Hence having smaller meals and things that are easier to digest. I also have the sports Hydrolyte powder in my water everyday as there isn't much sugar in it and it's a lot cheaper and lasts longer. Goodluck! But be kind to your body, it's working overdrive just to function.
