  1. @lynda Thanks for the well wishes. I don't know if I will get back to where I was before but I will be happy with 90-95% of what I was before. That is my goal if I get 100% then fantastic. All the best again't and keep us posted on your daughter's treatment and progress. Rick
  2. @Relax86 & @songcanary Thank you for sharing your victory stories. It gives me hope that I one day can share mine here also! I'm so happy for you both!
  3. Hi @lynda I hate some similar symptoms but so far on the milder side that. Initially fatigue, dry eyes and mouth along with paresthesia in my legs, arm and spine. Then there was the gastroparesis, neurogenic orthostatic hypotension, decreased sweating, acne and temperature disregulation. May and June my symptoms were at there worsto and I needed to spend a lot of time resting. I could not have any kind of normal routine and I had to take sick leave for 2 months. I ended up having to retire from my Job because it was just too much stress. I have felt pretty good these last two weeks. I almost feel I could go back to work but from I have read this condition can go to feeling great to back in the bed. I'm just great full that I was feeling better when I had to gethe some very important things done. I have had some leg pain and my knees hurt sometimes but I have not had a lot of pain which can be caused by the Nueropathy. I wish you and your daughter all the best. I hope that she will have relief from her symptoms and that you will find the inner strength to handie every situation.
  4. @Katybug Thanks for the reply. I hope that I'm one that gets recovery from this. I will stay hopeful.
  5. Hi @DizzyGirls thank you for the tip. I will speak to my Doctor about getting that done. I definitely have dry mouth. My Schwimmer test was about 10mm which is indeterminate. I make some saliva so but at night I dry out. Thanks again for your response
  6. Hello, My name is Rick and I am 55 years old. I started my journey with dsyautonomia about the beginning of May. It started with feeling fatigued and I had some paresthesia in my arms and legs. The next was the dry mouth and eyes and white tounge. Then stomach issues and weight loss. The MD who did the TTT said I have borderline NOH, mild autonomic insufficiency most likely caused by small fiber Nueropathy. I am feeling better than I did a few weeks ago and I put in for retirement since I couldn't do my job effectively. Two Doctors said that this could pass in a few months to a two years. Is that something that could happen? From what I have read that doesn't happen all that often. I just don't know what to expect. I want to get another job sometime down the road if my symptoms can remain mild as they are now. I am waiting on my skin biopsy results and so far my nerve conduction test indicated mild small fiber nueropathy. I don't know what I have yet, Sjogrens Syndrome or dsyautonomia or something autoimmune. My Rheumatologist says my blood work does not indicate SJS so I am at a loss of what exactly I have or if it will get worse before it gets better Still getting worked up by my Neurologist, Cardiologist and a couple of others. Only 3 months into this so I don't know what to expect. My question is do I have a chance of having a complete remission? Is a permanent remission possible?
