I'm Okami and I have had POTS supposedly a good chunk of my life according to my original Doctor. I have a moderate form where I can't stand for more than about 40 minutes on a good day. I have problems in a lot of my systems, constant nausea and digestive issues, weakness and fatigue, and a lot of near syncope and flat out fainting. The problem I have now is I can't work. I live with my mother and I'm 23, I've only had 2 short jobs that I had to quit from because I fainted at work. I have applied for disability since early 2012 but there's no luck so far on that end. My mother and I are very poor, to the point we may be losing our car soon and our day to day bills are not being paid on time or on the right month, food is an issue as well. She's having to file for bankruptcy soon. We can't keep this up at this rate and me not being able to do any real work is hurting us so much. I can't afford to go to the doctor anymore for treatment either, I can't afford any specialists and I already owe so much that some doctors won't see me. So I can't even get treatment to get a little better to work.
I'm not looking for charity but for advice. I have read this forum for years now and just joined as a last resort for advice. I don't know what to do about my disability or try and keep a job for as long as possible to start to save at least a small amount. I've tried to work from home, had a small online jewelry store but no luck there either. I just need something, anything to do to try and keep it together. It makes me feel awful and useless to not be able to do anything. I can't do anything to help financially to even survive, and it's stressing me out so much.
Please if there is anything that could help me or us I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry for such a short description, if you have any specific questions that I can answer without giving too much private information I'd be glad to answer. I know it's not the best written topic, I'm in a bit of a rush at the moment.
