  1. I know what you mean. It does feel good to have proof of what you have been telling people all along. mary
  2. I think it may have been a mediation reaction. I realized that at about 2am in the morning on that day I took some of my husbands medication instead of mine. OOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSSS. I realized it last night when looking through ours meds (yes they were in the same drawer) and thought I had mine and felt the pill and realized it. I have moved my meds. I am actually kinda happy to know it was just the medication and not a flare up. mary
  3. Where do you get the electrolyte packets and is there a name brand? mary
  4. I never get enough sleep. I cant sleep without waking up several times a night so there is no way I can get enough sleep. mary
  5. I have been much more tachy lately. My back is weak too and my legs. Don't feel like I have the strenghth to walk........
  6. Over the weekend I had a rough couple of days and wonder if these are pots/ncs symptoms or more like fibromyalgia symptoms. I felt incredibly heavy like my legs weighed 100 lbs. I felt weak and fatigued. I didnt really hurt but I just felt fatigued. One morning when I woke up it felt like I couldnt see straight, like when I walked it felt like my brain was floating around in my head. I have also been having night sweats even though I am on the Depo shot. mary
  7. Many of you know that my husband has been in and out of the hospital now for 3 months with mulitple issues (PE's, DVT's, Gallbladder Surgery, and most recently lots of blood in his stool). Well on Sunday is when he had the blood so we went to the ER once again because when you are on coumadin you have to watch for bleeding however with the amount of blood he had we would have gone anyway. Well for the first time they took his bp orthostatically. He was like "what are they doing"? The nurse was in the room and heard me explaining it all to him and how your bp can be lower when lying down, etc etc and she asked me, "You must be a nurse". I said no I just have NCS. She said, "Oh, you earned your degree the hard way". The good news is that the bleeding was just a small ruptured blood vessel and he is home and doing well again. We hope that is the last we see of a hospital for a looooooooooooooooong time. But we are still counting our blessings. mary
  8. Wow. Talk about needing to fix the way they communicate info. I know that what you have on your mind is finding out what it means but if you feel like it is important I would definitely let all parties involved know that this is NOT the way to give a patient results especially when the word Tumor is on the report. I hope you get some good news very soon. mary
  9. Not bad at all. I can deal with that. mary
  10. I didn't care for G2. It lacked the bite that regular Gatorade has. My husband loves propel. Do you know how many carbs propel has? mary
  11. I know some of you are sensitive to artificial sweetners but I was shopping today and saw that Crystal Light has a drink with added electrolytes. I am going to give it a try. I have put on weight drinking so much gatorade. I will let you know how it works for me. Since I am not sensitive to the sweetners I am going to give it a shot. mary
  12. I live by Gatorade. You need some electrolytes. mary
  13. As some of you know my hubbie has been in the hospital recovering from gallbladder surgery and getting his coumadin levels back to theraputic. So last night I was walking the halls of the hospital with him and we went down a hall with testing rooms such as TEE and Echo etc. Well I was reading off the names of the testing rooms and I saw the TTT room and said "there is the torchure chamber". I had forgotten that we were in the hospital where I was diagnosed. I dont ever want to go in that room again!! mary
  14. I am so sorry to hear the news and we will continue to pray. mary
  15. i have also found that eating on a regulat basis helps me too. mary
  16. Welcome. It can take awhile to get diagnosed and to find a doc that will listen and explore. It took me over 20 years to get a proper diagosis. I was diagnosed with MVP at 15 yrs old. I now know that I dont have that. I have been told that I anxiety and panice attacks and even told by one doctor that I was hyperventalating. My main complaint was fatigue. My doc had run test after test and had run into a brick wall. Only after I broke down in tears in his office did he sugesst a tilt table test and that is when I was diagnosed with Neurocardiogenic Syncope. Now after a year I am doing much better. I take midodrine, drink lots of water and gatorade and have learned alot more about my body and when to stop. I also take depo to stop my periods and that has helped tremendously. hang in there and dont stop searching for help. mary
  17. I seem to have the opposite reaction. If I dont take mine on time I get jittery. mary
  18. Please keep us updated when you can. mary
  19. The surgery went very well. He is now back on blood thinners and will be in the hospital until his blood level is theraputic which probably means Sat or Sun. But we are making progess!!!!!!! mary
  20. I am so sorry to hear about your doctor but maybe this will be an answer to why she had the fevers. Hope she will be better very soon and can move forward from here. Lifting you up in prayer. mary
  21. My husband is having surgery tomorrow morning. They took him off the coumadin on Thursday and we checked into the hospital yesterday. He is now back on Heparin and then his gallbladder surgery tomorrow then stay in the hospital for a few days to regulate the coumadin again. Pray for no clots since he had no reason for them to begin with but surgery can cause clots but the heparin is to prevent them this time. mary
  22. Please let us know how the surgery goes. I am in prayer for your family now. mary
