ajw4790 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Share Posted January 23, 2008 Hi!Does anyone know what the difference between Raynauds and poor distal circulation, causing cold, painful, and white/blue extremities?I know it was caused by neuropathy, I am just not sure I get the difference? I have for many years said about my painful red burning fingers, I had poor circulation and just thought it was something I had to live with. I did suffer burns on my hands so I thought that contributed. Anyway, I only understood about Raynaud's recently. What raised the question was when I recently had my first bouts of extreme angina. My cardiologist suspected a heart vasospasm and suggested I take pictures of my fingers when it happened next. On rare occasions, they can be related.Today is my day to get an answer! (I pray) I am in fact starting my morning hydration to get ready for an 11am dr appointment and I am taking photos of my fingers turning colors. Each having a specific cause re circulation.It is markedly worst in the winter or associated with handling cold things. It can be mild to excruciating.
