Mrs. Burschman
Hi DINET friends! There are a ton of changes coming to my life, and I'm stressed out!1. My husband got a new job. Starting Monday, we will no longer work at the same place. We've worked together the whole time we've been married.2. His new job is day hours. I work nights. We now will be on opposite shifts.3. This means I am looking for a new job with more normal hours. I have five resumes out. Now I just have to wait ...4. I'm worried about getting a new job. Will I be able to handle it with my POTS?I know that in the grand scheme of things, none of this is a big deal, but for those of us who struggle with anxiety anyway, it's scary!Anyway, tips on coping or simply good thoughts during this time of change would be very much appreciated! MomtoGiuliana
These life changes are always stressful no matter whether you have POTS or not. A change in your job is a big stressor. Find time to meditate/relax/rest in the midst of these changes. I wish you the best in finding a job that will work for you.

pat57
My Dr. says working nights is hard on everyone.I think the day hours will do you a world of good!My advise is when your thoughts are negative, WHICH IS 100% NORMAL. Take that as a cue ,to remember ,that people who work day hours feel better. After the dust settles -expect to feel better.
