lthomas521 Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 "Specifically, it is suggested that a migraine attack is characterized by a relative depletion of sympathetic norepinephrine stores in conjunction with an increase in the release of other sympathetic cotransmitters such as dopamine, prostaglandins, adenosine triphosphate, and adenosine." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...t_uids=14979884So is this why I'm prone to getting migraines if I have been spending too much time on my feet? futurehope Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 ?????Are you saying this is the first time you've realized that being on your feet increases the likelihood of a migraine?Or are you saying you already knew this, but now you know the reason this happens? I really don't understand all that the article was saying because I am not familiar enough with neurotransmitters. But anytime doctors can come up with something that might help us, I'm listening (whether I understand them or not LOL).
