ariella
HiI had some respiratory distress last week that kicked off my POTS. Landed in the ER. They took blood of course, and my glucose (fasting--didn't eat a thing that day because of the breathing trouble) was high. This has happened before when my body is fatigued and generally POTSy, and then returns to normal. Anyone with similar experience? ariella
Guest CyberPixie
When I went to ER in July they took my blood sugar levels, I had only eaten a piece of toast about 2hrs before and it was somewhat high (8, meant to be 5). I have had an insulin resistance test and it was fine. So no idea whats going on.
lthomas521
Cortisol, which is a stress hormone, can make your sugar go up.
