Looking_for_light
Unfortunately, no isotonic drinks around. Will look at the kindly flagged recipes. Also wondering if anyone's tried the natural electrolyte solution that's made from seawater? As a newbie, was unaware item links couldn't be used. Hoping it's permissable to just mention its name instead? Contains minerals including chloride, sodium and K. It's such a lot - can't afford any mistakes. Wonder if chloride impacts dysautonomia in any way. Thanks!
MikeO
I have tried the electrolyte products out on the market and to be honest never felt a benefit from them. They are pricey to use on a daily basis as well. My experience with vitamin water or liquid IV is they can be harsh on the stomach (My nutritionist cited sorbic acid being one of the ingredients causing GI issues) I do buy the sugar free low calorie instant drink mixes. Brand i buy in the US is only a couple of bucks and makes 12 liters. I have tolerated it well and manage to stay hydrated. At the end of the day IMO it will take some trial and error to find what works.
