Symptoms

rapid heart rate,shortness of breath,tightness in throat,hard to swallow,pressure in chest,acid reflux,burning in stomach and chest,burping lots,fatigue,weight loss,hands always sweaty

Past few days I’ve been getting chest pains and lightheaded when standing with pressure in head. Pain is mostly in center of my chest closer to neck. Been to the hospital today heart rate was 145 but blood pressure was normal and ecg was normal. Last few months I’ve been having bad acid reflux with stomach pains and burning in chest that causes pains like a heart attack

Don’t know if it’s anxiety, heart problems or digestive problems

@Cody - the gastro issues you describe sound identical to the ones I have from POTS. Is it possible because of the stomach you are dehydrated and that is what is causing the high HR? - You really should be evaluated by a gastroenterologist and have a scope done. You very well may have a stomach ulcer. The heartburn and excessive acid will cause chest pains like you describe. My symptoms greatly improved with medication ( PPI, Zofran, Zantac ) as well as frequent small snacks rather than meals. Hydrate!!!!!! Drink electrolyte rich fluids ( Gatorade, broth ), stay away from spicy, greasy, gassy foods as well as dairy, eat cooked rather than raw veggiies. These are all things that were recommended to me by my GI specialist and helped. But most importantly pick up the phone and schedule an appointment !!!!!!!!
