Cane

I know it's hard but you have to take care of yourself in spite of what other people may think. I haven't used a cane but I have used a wheelchair in certain circumstances and while it was a painful decision to make, I am so glad I did it. It allowed me to do some things I never would have been able to manage without the wheelchair.

And, as Sylvie mentioned, they have some blinged out canes these days! I was sitting at a medical pharmacy last year and happened next to a woman who had a cane that was pink rhinestones from top to bottom (except the hand grip)! I said I liked it and the woman told me she was there to order another one... gold with silver etching in it! She said if she had to have a cane, she was gonna show up and show off! I appreciate that sentiment!
