Sheri Lynn
Dr doesn't think my insurance will pay for the JOBST Compression stocking he wants me to wear so he suggested spanx. I've gotten the tights and the hi waisted thigh shaper. Wore the thigh shaper yesterday and the top in back kept rolling down. Any suggestions on what type is the best and/or how to stop the rolling down issue. At this time I'm still working 40+ hours a week (thankfully my job allows me flexibility to take breaks etc) and I know the compression really helps me so I really want to get something that works .Thanks ! Sunshinegirl
Honestly, I tried many different products but because I am short and have a small torso, nothing was working. I finally found Medi compression stockings that come in petite online. I jumped in and bought them because, really, I had already wasted $100 on other products that roll down due to my short torso. I only have one pair so I wash the feet every night and the whole thing every few days and hang it to dry. I don't understand the reasoning of wearing spanks. They provide very minimal compression. My neurologist told me that these things were useless because they do not have the level of compression needed to even being to effectively treat my symptoms. Iv tried everything and they all roll except for the stockings that are the correct fit for me. I found that JOBST runs tall and big. If you don't get the correct fit, you will be miserable and out of money!
SarahA33
Hi Sheri Lynn,That's great to hear that your able to work full time, I'm sure it can be challenging most days, so I'm glad that your job allows for the flexibility also. The compression stockings will also hopefully make a big difference for you.. I've included below a few links for some really great websites that compare various types of stockings at different price ranges, and the last one is from amazon w/ jobst options because your doctor recommended them, just thought i'd throw it in there for ya! Good luck on your search!
