Getting A Good Start

Recommended Posts

I have found that I need to sleep until between 8-9 am or my body doesn't do well. I also figured out thar a regular alarm no longer works for me because the sudden noise caus s a startle response as it wakes me up and I have a major adrenaline dump as I'm waking. Then, about 20 minutes after being awake I have a major adrenaline crash and have to lay down again. Using an alarm that has a gradually increasing volume (and for me I use the sound spa noise of "the morning rainforest" instead of a buzzing or radio noise) , has allowed me to wake up in a relaxed manner that simulates waking up on my own so I feel better most mornings. I still have mornings that I am not functional like this morning when I woke with a raging migraine, but I at least get 2-3 more good mornings now. I was getting zero!
