Freaked
My GP just prescribed mestinon for my POTS. Anyone tried it? Is it good? My main fear is that it might make my tachycardia or BP swings worse. Anyone found that?
corina
I'm on mestinon and find it really helpful. I do not experience the tachycardia nor BP swings you mentioned. Hope it will be helpful for you as well!
Psalm 23
Hi Freaked,I have been on Mestinon for over two years and have found it to be very helpful. I have not experienced tachycardia or b/p swings while on it. I wish you success with it. There are many past postings that you would find interesting that describe others experience with Mestinon. Psalm 23
Actually I need to clarify that I do have b/p swings but that was there before taking Mestinon and has just continued. In other words being on Mestinon has not had an effect on my b/p one way or the other.
krystal
how does mestinon help?
Psalm 23
It restrains my tachycardia, has greatly reduced palpitations, has improved slow gastric motility and improved thermoregulation issues. It initially seemed to help with fatigue but that is unfortunately no longer the case.
