JuneFlower
My daughter has been sweating a lot this last month. Also her hands and feet are always clammy. I've read that the QSART sweat test is looking to see a lack of sweating. So is this not a symptom of POTS?June
Becia
Dont know of it being a sign of POTS, but from how it was explained to me was "it's a sign of some sort of dysautonomia". I'm scheduled for QSART and TST testing this month (in fact, the TST is this coming Tuesday, and I'm already nervous because I swear, I sweat something HORRIBLE, and I hate sweat). I'm also redoing a tilt table test, because the doctor at Cleveland Clinic isn't satisfied with the initial diagnosis of POTS since i seem to be the complete opposite of how I was when diagnosed, and yet, i still have so many other issues. TCP
I get periods of sweating profusely throughout the day and night. I also gets cold sweats, too. I believe that autonomic dysfunction can cause profuse sweating or absent sweating.
