Lately when standing my heart rate has only gone up say 15-20 beats for a week say.

Tonight: sitting 120/66 hr 59 stood up still 5mins 127/77 hr 60.

I mean I dont get it a few weeks ago it was going to 110-120?!

I am seeing autonomic specialist this week what do I say? Oh I sometimes have pots but it goes for a week and then comes back!?!

Arghh it doesnt make any sense

Unless theres something causing neuropathy and my nerves heal then damage then heal?

I never feel right not like im supposed to

Pots does fluctuate. Sometimes I experience tachycardia and sometimes not. Mine can change from morning to afternoon, day to day. I can leave the house feeling OK and get to the doctor's office 2.5 miles away and have an attack while I'm standing at the reception desk checking in. I don't think it's unusual and I think that's why the most definitive diagnostic test is a tilt table test because it restricts us from doing even small countermanuveurs that would change the numbers.

I fluctuate an incredible amount. My first walk today, I went from 68 -> 91, then later today 60->113. Standing in place while peeing I was at 147! There are so many factors that go into it. Be grateful the numbers at least are getting better.

I think when it comes to the doctor's appointment you have to be VERY careful about how you present yourself. Don't come off as anxious as much as you can. I would just present the facts in as cold and deliberate a manner as you can. I know thinking about the appointment and how to present yourself in its own can cause anxiety... but I would really try to be very calm in presentation and just say matter of factly your symptoms and that you have repeatedly seen your heart rate go to 110-120 just from standing, but other times it doesn't. You probably waited a while to get to this appointment. Don't let him dismiss you, but don't be too aggressive - I've found doctors don't like that. You need to clearly express you're not well, while not seeming irrationally upset...
