Raglands Test ?????

Recommended Posts

Guest Alex

Aren't you supposed to start in a sitting position for the Raglands test?

Either way, your systolic BP increased (according to Raglands test it should increase by 8-10 - yours is withing that range), adrenals are suspected when the systolic BP decreases.

Regardless of that, if you suspect your adrenals are involved, have you had any blood work for your adrenals function lately? Blood cortisol, ACTH stym test, aldosterone, plasma renin activity? How about a 24 h urine cortisol?

Hope this helps,

Alex

Hope your dr will be able to answer your questions. Again, to my knowledge, that's how the Raglands test is used/interpreted. It's meant to point towards adrenal fatigue, so 'under production' of hormones by your adrenals.

Are any of your many meds pointed at your adrenal glands?

Alex
