Katybug
Before I knew anything about POTS and I was still having a "normal" life, I had to buy a new pair of tall boots for horseback riding at horse shows. At the time I weighed 130 lbs. which equated to a women's size 4 or 6. I was basically thin. But when I was trying on boots even the sales woman was shocked when we finally discovered the only boots that fit around my calves were double extra wide calves. I couldn't for the life of me reconcile why my calves were so wide. They didn't appear swollen and the sales lady and I just chalked it up to my muscle being so developed from riding so much. But now I think that this article is the real explanation. I have been wondering for a long time now that I know about POTS pooling if it had something to do with it.
