Darlene
i have atleast 20 to 30 floaters in one eye and about 10 in the other, and 8 lesions in the frontal white matter. i was dx with dysautonomia and mcad. i think there is more wrong with me then they know. i read lyme causes floaters and lesions. i did have an elisa test and that was positive, but my westernblot was negative. i hear you can still have lyme with a negative western blot. does anyone know of dependable lyme blood tests. someone told me about cd57-162. issie
Best thing to do is find a doctor that specializes in this. I feel very fortunate to have found a doctor and him also be aware of POTS and what it does to a person. I also have a brain tumor in the meninges of my frontal lobe. I'm hoping that a lot of things will disappear with my treatment. Here's hoping!!!! Issie
Katybug
A good resource for information is www.ilads.org regarding this question and they are the organization I called to find a Lyme literate doctor in my area. I agree with issie that getting with a specialist is the best thing to do given what you know. I also believe that good Lyme docs do the testing needed to rule out other differential diagnosis that cause similar signs and symptoms, such as MS or various autoimmune diseases.
