coloredblood
I have been drooling and spitting all over the place. I can't seem to stop. I have no idea why but all of a sudden there is a huge increase in my saliva. Any one else experienced this? I don't expect there is anything to do about it, just curious. Thanks. jenniferlynne76
While not drooling/spitting myself, I definitely have increased salivation. In my case, I believe it's related to the Mestinon I'm taking. I just feel like I have more saliva in my mouth and have to swallow more regularly. On the upside, I'm rarely thirsty these days! ;-)
sue1234
I had that happen prePOTS, about 10 years ago. During the day it wasn't that big of a deal, but at night trying to fall asleep and drooling onto the pillow was not fun!! I would keep a cup by the bed to spit in until I fell asleep, then I believe it settled down. Back then I thought it was related to taking my magnesium to help my stomach motility. I had problems balancing it with calcium, as calcium would always make my bowels stop for days. It did eventually go away, but at some point I had also quit taking magnesium everyday.Another thing that happened around that year or two was I had all my mercury fillings changed out(about 10 of them). I think I later read that high mercury can do something like that. Who knows?
