lalalisa
Hello! I recently read that Procrit had helped one of you by giving you more energy. (I am extremely fatigued and have to sleep 12-15 hours/day in order to function) Has anyone had experience with this medicine? How do you know if you have low blood volume?Does Procrit have side effects? Thanks for your information and help,I am thankful for you all!Lisa

lalalisa
Steph,OK I am really impressed that you give yourself shots! I pass out from them at times so I'm already concerned about the injections. I am so ready for something to help my fatigue though that I'll do anything. Thanks again for your input. My Dr. is looking into this now.Lisa
lalalisa
Can a simple blood test diagnose low blood volume? Are there any bad side affects that can come with Procrit? Thanks!Lisa
briarrose
Actually there are very few places that actually do the specific test to prove hypovolemia (low blood volume.) However, it I believe that it is usually thought that if you are anemic then you probably also suffer from hypovolemia. All of the information that you seek and more, has been talked about in previous discussions; just hit search - procrit, epogen, erythropoetin, anemia, etc. Also Nina aka Mightymouse has done a wonderful job posting many websites specific to this topics. You can find it at the top of general discussion page.I don't know a drug that doesn't have side effects, it just depends on how you do with it. It's one of those must try to know what and if it will have side effects.I can tell you that it has done wonders for my life. Steph
