This is a weird one and I have no idea what it has to do with POTS? I'm having a problem tolerating the feel of certain fabrics - it's giving me that nails on a chalkboard, cringe feeling. I've noticed it really bad this summer sitting on my patio chair cushions - whatever that fabric is - polyester I guess? The feel of it and almost the sound of it as I sit down or move around on the chair is making me feel like I want to jump out of my skin. It's the same with some other synthetic fabrics, like acrylic yarn. Anyone else have anything like this? How could it be related - thinking just a really super sensitive nervous system? It's like some filter has been lost and everything is just too overstimulating.
