Clairefmartin Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 My blood work came back very strange and my doctor told me it was weird, but gave no thoughts or explanations - so I thought I'd ask you guys. My "resting" (laying on a stretcher with lots of commotion) Dopamine was low, but when I stood up for anout a minute (then started passing out) and they drew blood, it dropped to almost nothing.My NE was low as well. bellgirl Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 My neurologist told me that you can't get accurate dopamine levels in the blood. I asked because I sometimes have Parkinson-like freezing, and tremors, so now I wonder why I have heard people getting their levels done this way?!
