kalamazoo
I've read fish oil promotes vasodilation. Isn't POTS too much vasodilation (in some) which creates the swelling and redness? So I'm curious if this would help or worsen. I have bad circulation and my fingernails sometimes turn blue and I'm not anemic so I want natural ways to improve that but I'm worried about worsening the POTS. Chaos
It's supposed to lower BP as well so if you tend to run low already that may be an issue.
rubytuesday
I have orthostatic hypotension (have always run low BP way before starting fish oil). I take it and cardiologist and cardiac specialist in dysautonomia have no problems with this at all (in me). I just recently had to change to Fisol (one that is enteric coated) as I've found that to be the culprit that really sets my nausea on edge. One of the posters here recommended it to me.
