So, I don't know about that. I've read that those with fibroids and endometriosis have an imbalance between their estrogen and progesterone. But, I couldn't use progesterone - it made me have hot flashes. Looking back it made my POTS worse and the hot flashes were connected to the POTS - I just didn't know that at the time. Somewhere, in the back of my mind I remember something about progesterone causing some with POTS to be worse. Any way, just using transdermal estriol and red clover and that seems to keep my hormones pretty good and prevent other issues that menopause causes - especially menopause by hysterectomy. issie Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Okay, back to talk about the nettle tea. That didn't work well for me. It gave me horrible hot flashes and made me have low blood sugar. I felt more fainty and initially after taking the herb about an hour after it gave me horrible tachy. So, couldn't do that.
