Rachel
POTS is a type of dysautonomia. Dysautonomia is an umbrella term used to describe a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system. Many different diagnoses fall under the category of dysautonomia. Not every dysautonomia is POTS, but POTS is always a kind of dysautonomia. You can find more information about this on the main DINET site: www.dinet.org.Hope this helps.Rachel
