Darlene
Does anyone else experience tachycardia at night? You would think your heart rate would slow while sleeping because your body is relaxed and you are using less oxygen. Sleeping is hard on my body it seems. And I don't feel good when I wake up. I feel better as the day goes on.
abnel
Yes, I have tachycardia at night also. It is not as bad as it was when I first got ill, but I am still aware that my heart rate is faster than it should be at rest. I can hear my heart beating when I am trying to go to sleep and it is very annoying sometimes.
Sarah4444
Me too. For a long time last year I'd wake every night around 3:30 AM with a falling sensation, very fast tachycardia, severe malaise, sometimes itching a sudden diarrhea. Apparently histamine levels are highest at night. My nights are much better all around now that I take 20 mg doxepin before bed.
RockiesGirl
I had this a lot more before my Meds.,now only occassionally. But I will wake up out of a dead sleep, scared, heart racing and sometimes covered in sweat. Sometimes it is hard to get to sleep because my heart is racing as well. yuliya
I get it at night sometimes, but mostly in the day. I have more palpitations at night while lying down even with a low heart rate.
