radiohfan23
I used to be a college athlete prior to developing POTS. I used creatine monohydrate to supplement my workouts and had great success with my stamina and strength improvements. I'm going to being using it again now as I begin my exercise program.Has anyone else used this and had any success?
Apache
I couldn't tolerate it. It made me spaced out and I couldn't do much besides sit in front of the television.
radiohfan23
Sorry to hear that. Can I ask which type you used? I'm taking the monohydrate that you drop under your tongue and not the powder... wonder if it makes any difference?
green
I use creatine powder. I think that maybe it helps a little with dysautonomia by increasing how much fluid you retain, since the creatine causes the muscles to take up more water. I feel like if I take creatine, I am a little less symptomatic during exercise.
Babygirl1973
I use creatine pills and suggest that you try it again. I started using it due to severe mucsle cramps triggered by cold, heat and or standing for periods of time. For me persoanlly, it had great benefits both in my everyday activities, but also when I worked out. Good luck!
