Nothing has shown up on any MRI or other scan but when I have a POTS flare I have a strange nauseating pain where in my kidney area (Kidneys are fine though). cordila Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 Pain above your kidneys (on the adrenals) is very common of adrenal exhaustion - which is tied to excess cortisol release - which is typical for POTS adrenalin surges.
