What are the symptoms and tests?I have weird pains and feelings of movement in about that area that I am not good at describing. Along, with increasing reflux, burping, stomach pain at times, and other IBS type symptoms. My docs tend to blow off concerns gastro. related.Thanks for any info! delphicdragon Posted July 12, 2008 Report Share Posted July 12, 2008 My father had one after a wrestling accident in college (many years ago). Primary symptom was GERD. But, in the accident he also cracked three ribs and collapsed a lung, so we're not sure which caused which. The valve on top of his stomach was destroyed completely.
