mkoven
Hi,I've been taking 5mgs of midodrine up to four times a day. It helps quite a bit.But what I have noticed is that as the dose wears off, I start to get a headache--like my vessels are dilating again, and if I don't dose asap, I'll end up with a migraine. Anyone else get his? Any ideas?I don't want to cut out the midodrine, but don't want a setup for more headaches either. Thanks!Michele

mandasmom
I got constant headaches the first time I tried taking Midodrine. I tried it again a year later and didnt have the same side effects then
goldicedance
Are you taking Florinef?? Watch out for the migraines with Florinef.Perhaps it is the feeling of no more head tingling that is getting to you with the midodrine.I always call myself the migraine queen. I did not think midodrine caused my migraines. For me, Florinef was the culprit.BTW, how are you doing with your CPAP?Lois
mkoven
Nope, not on florinef. Not yet, at least.Just swapped my cpap mask for something smaller that doesn't abrade the bridge of my nose so much. At first I thought it had cured my headaches. I think improved is the better term. I've had some doozies in the past couple days. But the cpap is still ongoing. I get a little less tired. I wake up a little less.
persephone
I had terrible headaches on Midodrine- and my bp stayed at 77/39 so in the end my Ep and I decided to abandon it.
