I just saw my cardiologist and he is prescribing this for me as I have low blood pressure and I’ve been dealing with a lot of adrenaline surges. I thought it was odd that when I told him I was getting adrenaline surges he had no idea what that meant and he asked me to explain that to him which was odd then he told me I was dehydrated, which I have been drinking so much water with extra electrolytes for the past three weeks so that’s wrong, he said he didn’t believe I had POTS and he could prove it by checking my blood pressure. He did that once I don’t know if that’s sufficient enough to say whether I have POTS or not but I’ve been dizzy and nauseous and lightheaded and these adrenal surges are so scary. I went to the emergency room twice and the last two weeks cause I feel like I’m going to die or faint , so I’m hoping to start this medication tomorrow and hoping that helps what else can help with these adrenaline surges ? I am so angry how dismissive my cardiologist was I don’t even know what other doctor to see I’ve seen every specialist and I don’t know what to do at this point.
